Application requirements

1. Two copies of duly completed passport application form;
2. Certified birth certificate;
3. Original residence permit;
4. Four recent pictures with size 3x4cm;
5. Application form for Ethiopians who left Ethiopia without a travel document and requesting a passport. Form (Please click here to download)
6. Passport fee $73.00 CAD.
7. A fingerprint taken at Ethiopian Embassy in Ottawa or taken at local police station and authenticated by notary public or appropriate authorities. Fingerprint Capturing Form.Click Here.
   1. Proof of police record;
   2. Copy of lost passport (if available); and
   3. >Replacement fee $88.00 CAD.

Replacement for Lost/ Damaged Passport All the same requirements as applying for an Ethiopian passport;

 

NOTE:- THE PROCESSING TIME IS WITHIN TWO MONTH.
